TAO Juku received the Minister of the Environment Award.
Today the award ceremony was held at Grand Arc Hotel in Hanzomon, Tokyo.
Reasons for the award are as follows.
“TAO Juku has held environment-friendly eco-cooking classes and health classes based on traditional Japanese foods taking into account the tradition of oriental medicine for many years.”
We are very happy that the “food ecology” activity, that we have steadily accumulated for the quarter century since TAO Juku was founded on November 1st in 1994 until this year, has been appreciated.
A lot of people ‘s support has realized the Minister of the Environment Award. I really appreciate everyone for this receiving the award. We would like to continue educational activities of peace and health through food without forgetting our original intention.
環境保全功労の環境大臣表彰を受けました。
東京•半蔵門のグランドアークホテルで授賞式。
受賞理由は以下の通り。
「環境に配慮したエコクッキング教室や、東洋医学の伝統に基づき日本の伝統食をベースにした健康教室の開催を長年にわたって行ってきた。」
1994年11月1日TAO塾創立以来、四半世紀に渡って地道に積み重ねてきた「食エコロジー」活動を評価頂いたことを素直に嬉しく思います。
沢山の人達の支えによって頂いた環境大臣賞です。心から感謝します。
これからも初心を忘れず食による平和と健康の教育活動を続けて行きたいと思います。
